Al-Ameen Dental College and Al-Ameen Dental College Hospital at Bijapur is an institution established by Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust(ACFT),Bangalore in 1991 to cater the needs of religious minority community with forty students admission. It is having excellent track record with good academic results since its inception.
Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust, Bangalore, a charitable organization was founded by the great visionary and philanthropist Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan at Bangalore in 1979 with group of leading Muslim personalities. The aim of the Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust is to establish educational (General and Professional) institutions and welfare organizations principally for the benefit of Muslim community and other under privileged persons. Bijapur is one of the educationally and economically backward districts of Karnataka where Muslim population is sizable. For this reason the Medical College, Dental College and Nursing School were established at this historical city of the Great Adil Shahies.

Al Ameen Dental College Facilities
Al Ameen Dental College provides hostel facilities to the students and has separate hostels for girls and boys. Students can avail the facilities of sports facilities, etc. Some other facilities are a gymnasium, auditorium, library, cafeteria, transport facilities, parking facilities, Bank & ATM facility, and many more.
- Library
The library has a spacious reading hall with separate reading areas for undergraduates and postgraduates. It has a seating capacity of about 200 people and is well illuminated with natural light. The library is under electronic surveillance to ensure that no reading material is taken outside of the building.

I. There are two hostels for men’s and women’s separately in the Campus.

II. Both the hostels are available for the students of Al- Ameen Medical College and Al-Ameen DentalCollege.

III. Both the hostels 24 hours electricity. In case of power failure hostels are having own generators. It has its own water supply facility. All the hostels are provided solar heater which supply warm water round the clock. At Bibi Khatija Ladies Hostel each rooms are provided with attach bathroom and toilet.
NOTE :
1. The students are liable to be expelled from the hostels for indiscipline,misconduct, repeated failures and for nonpayment of hostel fees.
2. If any student is involved in ragging he/she will not only be expelled but criminal proceedings will also be launched against him/her.
- Scientific Research Committee
Scientific Research Committe Al-Ameen Medical College, Vijayapur has been formed as follows. The research committee will look in to matter related to research activities.

The institution has an Auditorium to accommodate 950 Seating Capacity for Cultural and various other activities like Convocation, Stage Shows etc. The auditorium is spacious and well-ventilated.
