BDS From Noorul Islam College of Dental Science was established under the aegis of Noorul Islam Educational Trust, founded by Dr.A.P Majeed Khan, a man renowned for his farsighted vision in the field of education in the year 2006 with an annual intake of 50 students. The Noorul Islam College of Dental Sciences was started with the objective of providing quality dental education to the students to enable them to manage and treat dental patients independently and also to provide state of the art treatment facilities. The Department of Health &Family Welfare, Government of India, through the Dental Council of India, recognized this institution.
The College is affiliated to the Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram, and New Batches (2010 onwards) to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Trichur. The first batch of Noorul Islam College of Dental Sciences secured a 100% pass result in the Final BDS examination conducted by Kerala University. This institute is well equipped to provide graduate and Post Graduate courses in Dentistry and is a breakthrough in dental education and health care facilities in Kerala.
Through a short span of 10 years Noorul Islam College of Dental Science has attained excellence in dental science by bagging 28 ranks in the university, which includes final BDS university 2nd and 3rd ranks in 2015.Mr. Arun Kishore A. G (2011 batch) secured the first rank in the I BDS examination 2012 conducted by KUHS, Trichur. The Noorul Islam College of Dental Sciences has been elevated to the status of a Post Graduate Institute in 2014 with the commencement of 2 P G courses in the Departments of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics & Orthodontics and Dento Facial Orthopedics, which was approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India and Dental Council of India.

Noorul Islam College Of Dental Sciences provides hostel facilities to the students and has separate hostels for girls and boys.
