The BDS program comprises 4 academic years and 1 year of internship, leading to the award of a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. A BDS degree is the basic qualification required to be registered as a dental practitioner, but students can also pursue post-graduate studies in a particular dental specialization.
Masters of Dental Surgery or MDS from Al Ameen Dental College
The Institute offers MDS courses in two specialties MDS course is for a duration of 3 years.

- The candidate must appear and pass the NEET entrance exam with the required percentile score to seek admission to the course.
- Aspirants must complete the NEET BDS application form and pay the required fee by the deadlines. It is important that applicants carefully read the prospectus before filling out the application.
- Following the announcement of the results, only qualified and suitable candidates will be granted access to the counseling process.
- Following participation in the authorized counselling procedure, seats will be assigned to applicants based on rank and availability of seats

Al Ameen Dental College Eligibility Criteria
For admission towards BDS in Al Ameen Dental College, the following are the criteria:
- Candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination, with a minimum score of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- The candidate must pass the English subject as part of their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- The candidate must be of at least 17 years of age during the admission procedure of that academic year.
- The merit list will be based on cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute must clear the cutoff for various courses.
- To be eligible for further admission, aspirants must obtain a minimum qualifying score in the NEET 2022 entrance examination.
- Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC must obtain marks equivalent to at least the 40th percentile to be considered for AQI and state counseling processes.
- Aspirants in the UR category must score equivalent to at least the 50th percentile.
For admission towards MDS in Al Ameen Dental College,
the following are the criteria:
- For admission to the MDS Course, the candidate must possess a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a University or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration, and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college.
Al Ameen Dental College Facilities
Al Ameen provides hostel facilities to the students and has separate hostels for girls and boys. Students can avail the facilities of sports , gymnasium, auditorium, library, cafeteria, transport facilities, parking facilities, Bank & ATM facility, and many more.
- Scientific Research Committee
Scientific Research Committe Al-Ameen Medical College, Vijayapur has been formed as follows. The research committee will look in to matter related to research activities.
- Library
The library has a spacious reading hall with separate reading areas for undergraduates and postgraduates. It has a seating capacity of about 200 people and is well illuminated with natural light. The library is under electronic surveillance to ensure that no reading material is taken outside of the building.

I. There are two hostels for men’s and women’s separately in the Campus.

III. Both the hostels 24 hours electricity. In case of power failure hostels are having own generators. It has its own water supply facility. All the hostels are provided solar heater which supply warm water round the clock. At Bibi Khatija Ladies Hostel each rooms are provided with attach bathroom and toilet.
NOTE :
1. The students are liable to be expelled from the hostels for indiscipline,misconduct, repeated failures and for nonpayment of hostel fees.
2. If any student is involved in ragging he/she will not only be expelled but criminal proceedings will also be launched against him/her.

A multigym facility with all the modern equipments like electromagnetic Tread-mill etc.available for all the students in the campus.

The Institutions have 03 omnibuses,01 Dental Mobile bus,01 Community Medicine van and 01 Car for the transport of faculty.
