AMES Dental College Raichur and was founded in 1991-92. AMES Dental College and Hospital Raichur were started to serve students with the best dental care and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The institute affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences is also recognized by the Ministry of Health and Dental Council of India. Bachelor of Dental Surgery or BDS from AME’s Dental College
The BDS program comprises 4 academic years and 1 year of internship, leading to the award of a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. A BDS degree is the basic qualification required to be registered as a dental practitioner, but students can also pursue post-graduate studies in a particular dental specialization.

AME’s Dental College, Raichur – Admission Procedure
- The candidate must appear and pass the NEET entrance exam with the required percentile score to seek admission to the course.
- Aspirants must complete the NEET BDS application form and pay the required fee by the deadlines. It is important that applicants carefully read the prospectus before filling out the application.
- Following the announcement of the results, only qualified and suitable candidates will be granted access to the counseling process.
- Following participation in the authorized counselling procedure, seats will be assigned to applicants based on rank and availability of seats

AME’s Dental College Eligibility Criteria
For admission towards BDS in AME’s Dental College, the following are the criteria:
- Candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination, with a minimum score of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- The candidate must pass the English subject as part of their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- The candidate must be of at least 17 years of age during the admission procedure of that academic year.
- The merit list will be based on cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute must clear the cutoff for various courses.
- To be eligible for further admission, aspirants must obtain a minimum qualifying score in the NEET 2022 entrance examination.
- Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC must obtain marks equivalent to at least the 40th percentile to be considered for AQI and state counseling processes.
- Aspirants in the UR category must score equivalent to at least the 50th percentile.
For admission towards MDS in AME’s Dental College,
the following are the criteria:
- For admission to the MDS Course, the candidate must possess a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a University or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration, and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college.
