It is a double wall and double gated compound. Area between the first and second gate has been converted into playground for badminton and endurance exercises. There is an open waiting hall for parents and visitors with sofa and table. It is a lush environment with no smoking, no ragging and no plastic zone. All the hostels are equipped with a lift, 24 hours power back up.
- Photocopy centre
For the convenience of the students, there exists a photocopy Centre in the college campus for photocopying/ Xeroxing of document, clinical material at the nominal cost. The Centre opens at 9 am and closes at 4 pm.
- Health care Facility
All the students are vaccinated for Hepatitis-B at the time of admission on the day of orientation. Students can avail Medical facility for 24 x 7 at the Karpaga Vinayaga hospital for diagnostics and treatment. Separate wards,Clean and safe drinking water is provided at all strategic places in the hospital premises for the students. Clean & well-maintained washrooms in the college and hospital blocks and other strategic places are available.
- Cafeteria
There are two canteens in the college and hospital premises which serves tasty, delicious snacks and hygienic meal food to meet the requirements of students, faculty &visitors at subsidized rates.
General store
The general store is situated at II floor of hospital buildings where all types of stationary and medical material like stethoscope, White coat, dissection box, knee-hammer, measuring tape is available. Students can purchase necessary things during college hours. Departmental store is also existing in the campus for the purchase of daily needs.
- Sports
Students of KIMS & RC has an active cultural club and sports club which is primarily responsible to arrange, organise and execute the cultural activities and sports events respectively.
- ATM Centre and Post office
There are two entrance ATM centres at the entrance of main gate (Axis Bank & Indian Bank) for the students, faculties and patients’ relatives to withdraw money. Students who wants do speed post can avail post Office facility available at main entrance.
